Star crossed lovers video

This video is basically summing up the fact that they are two star crossed lovers and their families hate each other but it doesn't matter because all that matters is that they love each other and nothing can break them apart. They think that because no one knows about their love for each other except nurse and friar Lawrence. This video is romeo and Juliet with a twist.

Romeo and Juliet: Photo

This photo reminds me of the first time Romeo and Juliet saw each other at the Capulet Party. The moment their eyes met they knew they were in love. Even though their families hate each other, they don't care because all they care about is that they have both found someone that they can love unconditionally and care for no matter what. Romeo and Juliet: Act Two

I thought that Act two scene 2 between romeo and juliet was very interesting. Romeo goes out on a limb in this scene because when they were all driving back from the capulets party, Romeo knew that if he didnt go back to see juliet he would probably never get to express his feelings towards her. So he jumped out of the car and ran to go see juliet. He starts talking to her under the balcony and saying a bunch of really sweet stuff like that she is the east and juliet is the sun.

Juliet starts talking about romeo but doesnt know that he is under the balcony. She is concerned about romeo being a montague and if their love could ever be announced to the public. When she finally realizes that romeo is down there she can not believe it. She is kind of emberassed that he heard what she said. In the end of this scene they kiss,which was obvious, and she again has to go because nurse is calling her. I have never had this kind of experience in my real life, but if it happened to me i would have done exactly what juliet did.

Characters in Romeo and Juliet

The character in Act one that i am going to try to desribe is Nurse. Nurse is a very outgoing lady. She seems very loud and somewhat annoying but very caring. I think that she would look like a grandma. She seems like a pretty cool lady and i am pretty sure if we met than we would get along just fine. She would be kinda like me in a way because i can be outgoing and loud but i am very caring just like her.

Another person she reminds me of is my grandma. My grandma is VERY outgoing and doesnt care what people think of her and i love that about her. She can be very loud and somewhat annoying but in a funny way. I love my grandma to death and she cares about everyone even if she doesnt know them. She is the most caring person i know. Nurse reminds be very much of my grandma because they believe in the same things and care about their family.

Premonitions

Ok, well i dont think that i have many premonitions but i guess if you call sometimes guessing what might happen and it comes true, a premonition, than i have premonitions. I have bad feelings about things but i wouldnt call that a premonition. My bad feelings come from weird places and weird people.

I remember one time when i had a dream in 8th grade that the next day in english i would have a conversation with this person about cupcakes. The next day i was talking to that person and we started talking about our favorite foods and that person's favorite food was cupcakes and i totally had deja vu and i sort of knew that that person was going to say cupcakes.

Shakespearen Stories

Shes the man relates to the love triangle thing. A girl named Viola loves soccer and her loser boyfriend doubts that she can play boys soccer so she dresses up as her brother sebastian and goes to the college that sebastian is supposed to go to and meets a guy named duke that is in love with a girl named olivia who is really in love with sebastian but she doesnt know that it is really viola as sebastian. Everything gets mixed up but in the end everyone hooks up with the person that they are supposed to get with.

This story is most likely influenced By Shakespeares Twelfth night. This has the same peoples names in it and has the same plot. The same things happen in the twelfth night that happen in shes the man. They even have the character named viola in twelfth night play as her twin brother sebastian just like in shes the man.

Anticipating Shakespeare

My reaction to watching the movie was that it was a pretty good movie. I understood what i saw pretty well but some of the things that i heard i couldnt really follow or understand. By the end of the movie i started to understand what they were talking about and what the whole movie was about. My perception of shakespeare is that he is a very complex dude. He uses words that if we used them now a days people would look at us weird.

My prior knowledge about romeo and juliet is that it is a really romantic story. Pretty much all i have heard is that two unlike people fall insanley in love with each other and that they die at the end becuase they feel that they should die if they cant be together. I think that i will like it a lot because i love love stories and i like what i have heard about this story so i will hopefully enjoy the next two months just as much as you will.

winter break extra credit

Winter break was really fun this year. I went sledding with my friend. The road was covered in snow so my friends dad got his truck out and he tied a rope to the sled and then tied it to the back of his truck and off we went. It was a blast. I also got to go horseback riding. It was cold but fun. Another thing i did was go shopping at the mall with friends. There was a lot of people there but i got to buy some new clothes with the money i got from Christmas. I had a good Christmas this year but most of my family didnt come down so it wasn't as good of a Christmas as i imagined it would be.
